CONCERT HALL PROJECT

Kamet S.A. is unique not only because of the high-quality products that are produced in factory halls, but also because of the original passions of the people that are part of the company.

The result of this passion is the foundation of the Delivie Foundation along with the creation of the Delivie Scena project.

The project was implemented by the Husarska Design Studio run by Jadwiga Husarska-Sobina, an award-winning industrial designer. The design team consisted of designers Katarzyna Gierat, Klaudia Kasprzak and technical advisor – Andrzej Sobina who was responsible for the technical aspects of the hall’s equipment. In the next stage of the investment, including the lobby, the architect Kinga Pawlik joined the team. 

A place that was designated for the music room had previously a social function.

A significant drawback of this place was the poor acoustics resulting from the original purpose of the room.

Ceramic tiles and walls made of plasterboards reflected the sounds. Also the presence of a production hall in the immediate vicinity required soundproofing of the room.

This is how the concept of the acoustic wave was born. The wave on the one hand, disperses the sound, and, on the other, becomes an architectural element that gives uniqueness to the interior.

The entire room was lined with custom-made covering from a factory in Belgium. The implementation of an individual order allowed for the creation of an original acoustic wave pattern along with Delivie logo directly on the surface of the carpet.

To improve sound absorption, acoustic curtains used in theaters and music halls were used. They also perfectly cut off access to sunlight, while allowing for quick rearrangement of the room and letting in light depending on the current needs.

The main purpose of the hall was the organization of musical events and thus providing professional acoustic and equipment conditions for professional musicians. A part of the permanent technical equipment was the sound system, appropriate XLR connections and power supply built directly into the stage leading to the sound engineer desk. In addition, professional stage lighting controlled by a DMX controller and a permanent video installation allowing for maintenance-free concert recording was implemented.

The room, apart from its primary purpose, was designed as a training room for brainstorming and creative work. The modular structure of tables and armchairs allows for their immediate rearrangement. The stage is an ideal place for lecture presentations. The room is equipped with a retractable projection screen that allows to display computer content and movies.

A permanent element of the room’s furnishings are standing lamps designed by Studio Projektowe Husarska and entirely made using Kamet’s machinery park. It is an important element of the interior that creates a unique atmosphere. The inspiration for their design was a living fire symbolizing the emotions that arise during the concerts.

In the second stage of the investment, a lobby was created. Here meetings take on a less official character. By analyzing the needs of event participants, a bar counter was created. It allows to serve drinks and appetizers for the guests. The design elements of the counter refers to the interior of the music hall. 

Modern glazing separates the lobby from the staircase and gives the interior a unique character.

In the next  room there is a space with seating and bar tables.

The layout of the space is conducive to informal conversations during entracte. 

The most eye-catching element in the room is the Word Tree. It is another element consistent with the architectural elements of the music hall. The tree is a symbol of creativity and the word refers to poetry which is often the topic of the performances. It is consistent with the image of the place which is largely related to poetic music. The words on the tree have been laser cut in aluminum and are an important element of the decoration that reminds us that we are still on the premises of Kamet unique factory.
